I live on the barrier island in Indialantic, Florida. I am a fine artist specializing in pet portraits and I play a mean game of tennis. Showing—27 years; Judging—1.5 years.
SHELLY MARX
We just moved from Colorado to Mesa, Arizona. “Outside of dogs” Shelly takes care of our four dogs. Shelly started showing dogs in 1975, and was approved as a judge in 2011. Shelly is an AKC approved judge for Flat-Coats, Curly-Coats, Goldens, Irish Setters, Gor- don Setters, English Setters, Welsh Springers, Viszla,
English Cockers and Junior Showmanship. Recently, Shelly judged puppy and Veteran sweepstakes at the 2014 FCRSA National Specialty, an honor in that breed reserved for long- time breeders and members.
SID MARX
We just moved from Colorado to Mesa, Arizona. “Outside of dogs” Sid sells supplies to auto dealerships. Sid started showing dogs in 1963 and was approved to judge in 1974. I am cur- rently approved to judge BIS, Sporting Group, Hound Group, Border Terriers, Australian Terriers, Miniature Schnau- zers, West Highland White Terriers,
Smooth Fox Terriers, Wire Fox Terriers and Junior Showman- ship. I received my Master’s degree from Empire State Col- lege, and I live happily with my wife, Shelly, our Flat-Coated Retriever, Welsh Springer Spaniel, Beagle, and Irish Setter.
DOUG WINDSOR
I live with my wife (Wendy Schira) in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada which is about one hour from Toronto, Ontario. I purchased my first pure-bred Golden Retriever in 1971 and began showing the same year. I have been breeding both Gold- en Retrievers and Flat-Coated Retrievers for over 40 years and have bred 100+ Canadian Champions and 75+ American Champions. I have also bred Belgian Shepherd dogs for 35+
years and recently have also bred Barbet and Schipperke. We still show Goldens, Flat-Coats, Barbet and Schipperke. I am a CKC licensed All-breed judge and have been judging all breeds for over 20 years. I have also been judging at AKC shows for 25+ years.
ANN YUHASZ
I am a lucky girl as my husband and I and one very spoiled Norfolk Ter- rier split our time between the glorious Chagrin Valley (Cleveland, Ohio) and the fabulous Florida Keys—you can guess when! Outside of dogs—there is a life outside dogs? I work for our son as CFO for his printing com- pany, I love to paint in oils and we garden—orchids in
Florida, veggies and perennials in Ohio. I have a very full life augmented by family, dogs and wonderful dog friends. As my folks were both involved in the sport, my mother, a breeder of ES and later a well-respected judge, and my father, a dog lover, supporter and AKC delegate, I really always was “doggie”. I myself have been involved in the sport since the
